Back to School
School starts on Thursday, Aug 21. Pray for Olivia as she gets accustomed to a new mix of classmates and a new teacher. Pray for Gabe as he adjusts to starting school for the first time. Pray for Aaron that he will have a great year in his new roles.
New Baby
Pray for our family as we get ready for our new baby to come around Sept 26. Pray that Dad will provide all our needs, especially as we work out the logistics for the time around the delivery. Pray also for a good transition for all of us.

Praises

Olivia's Adoption:
While we were in America this summer we got Olivia's American passport and all the documents that make her a real American citizen -- even a letter from President Bush! We feel a huge sense of relief that everything is finally finished!
Great Summer
We had a wonderful summer in the U.S. with Aaron's family in Prosser, WA. Not only was it wonderful to spend an extended time with family, but we really enjoyed Aaron's parents' backyard, and the kids especially enjoyed playing with their cousins!

Kid Updates

Baby "Basketball"
should be arriving around the end of next month. Her official due date is September 26, but Mommy is hoping for an October 1st (China National Day) baby. :) She got her nickname from Aaron's Grandma Helen, who thinks Amy's belly looks like a basketball.
Anna
is a tiny, terrific two-year-old. She is still very active and loves to talk. She's sleeping in a big girl bed now, and is getting all ready to be a big sister next month!
Gabe
is in Junior Kindergarten this year for half-days every day. He'll be going to the new Early Childhood Center campus that our school is opening. He's excited to start school so that he can see his friends more.
Olivia
is in second grade this year. She loves to read and is a wonderful dancer. She's also a great help to her mommy as she gets older and more responsible. :)
